I like Fenris’ leggings.

What I found ridiculous was he and the other elves running around without shoes on.

Shoes are silly and can ruin our feet (and spine) by placing them in unnatural positions (and I’m not even talking about high heels). Sure they provide protection from the harsh things on the ground (and cold, obviously), but our bodies already naturally adapt to the environment if we let them. 

I loved that the elves didn’t wear shoes. It literally keeps them grounded and more in touch with nature. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barefoot_running
